No internet connection

So I wanted to make my laptop a second monitor for my PC. But it didn't work, so I searched on YouTube about how to do it and someone said that I needed to reset my network, so I reset it and after that I couldn't connect to my network on device manager. It shows a yellow exclamation triangle. And at other devices have the same triangle. My network adapter is Intel(R) Ethernet Connection 1217-LM. Please help me.

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    That yellow exclamation mark indicates the network card device driver is not installed correctly, the best option is to go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and install the version of Intel network card device drivers they recommend.

    If you have any difficulty locating the support page, click your Stat Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

    Try This

    • Open CMD (Command Prompt) as Admin
      Start > Type CMD > Click on right dialog box "Run as Administrator"
    1. Type this "netsh winsock reset" without " symbol
    2. Restart your computer
