So, do I need to download the last Ethernet LAN driver to my laptop, then put it on a USB, and then download it onto my PC from the usb?

So I wanted to make my laptop a second monitor for my PC. But it didn't work, so I searched on YouTube about how to do it and someone said that I needed to reset my network, so I reset it and after that I couldn't connect to my network on device manager. It shows a yellow exclamation triangle. And at other devices have the same triangle. My network adapter is Intel(R) Ethernet Connection 1217-LM. Please help me.

You would need to download the installer for the network drivers on another device, like the one you are using to access this forum, then use a USB to transfer them to your PC
Thank you for that photo, the support page for your HP PC is on this link, however, the latest Ethernet LAN drivers are from 2015

The best option is to download the Intel Driver and support Assistant from the link below, then run that to see if it can find more compatible device driver.
