No internet connection

So I wanted to make my laptop a second monitor for my PC. But it didn't work, so I searched on YouTube about how to do it and someone said that I needed to reset my network, so I reset it and after that I couldn't connect to my network on device manager. It shows a yellow exclamation triangle. And at other devices have the same triangle. My network adapter is Intel(R) Ethernet Connection 1217-LM. Please help me.

Yeah i just put the files from the zip file in a folder and now im waiting to finish installing

Hi Szabo,

Try copying that downloaded zip file into a new folder on your PC and run the installer from there.

Yes, I extracted it but on the usb there was a windows installer and I forgot to plug it out and when I restarted my PC it showed to install Windows , then I, unplug the usb and power up my computer and it worked i guess it was from that now im trying to install it again.

Hi Szabo,

That is unusual, did you extract the zip file you downloaded, then run the installer file for that driver?

If you did, that may indicate a problem with that Intel card.
