Autopilot.dll WIL error

This is really interesting. I have Office 365 so am a little reluctant to try this. I am getting the same autopilot report all the time and I think it has something to do with a conflict between apps. But I don't see any effects of the errors, all of which come from the ModemDeployment-Diagnostics-Provider and listing <my computer name>.fios-router.home as the "computer" Th event ID was 1010

I don't know one way or another whether or not Office 365 has any thing t do with this.

When I first started looking at the Autopilot errors, I suspicioned part of the issue had to do with something that my office had used when I logged on from my personal computer to the office server to upload some documents that they had requested. I did not ever set up "Teams", yet there it was. I could delete the "autologin" and get rid of the error, but then I had to constantly enter my credentials.

There was something in my security settings that said that I wasn't authorized to do and that I needed to contact my IT administrator. I am the only Administrator on my laptop.

I'm 90% convinced these errors are part of some collaborative software that acts like a traffic cp for projects

Hi All,

I have not had the autopilotdll error for 6 days now.

It has plagued me for the past couple of years and frustratingly so, trying all the recommendations here.

System: Dell G5 laptop; Intel Core 7 10th Gen; 8GB ram

Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057)

Here's what I did. I was having major issues with slow running and booting performance (20 minutes from start to desktop kinda slow.) Not waking up form sleep, hanging during active session etc.. I made the decision to do a reset, keeping my files. (I did this a year ago trying to clear this up....just a bit differently.

This time I elected:

Install Windows from the "Cloud" and not my computer. It took longer in it's slow state.

I did not start "Teams" upon completion. ( I have long suspicioned Teams and the autologin as a conflict.)

I did not select Office 365. (Not sure if this made any difference.)

Basically I have a new Win 11 install with files from the Cloud and no collaborative programs' installed and no Autopilotdll errors. YMMV.

+1 I just had the same issue for the first time on my Razer Blade laptop and Windows 10; in the sense that it caused a hard crash for the first time and I was forced to hold down my offswitch to turn off the laptop. Was simply writing up an e-mail in Outlook as it happened.

im getting same issue to even with new windows installtion from usb drive i still get it Autopilot.dll WIL error was reported.
