Didn't work for me. Commands executed without error but error messages persist.

It looks like I was wrong when I said resetting the TPM didn't fix this. I just looked at my Event log and all my autopilot errors have stopped. But, for some reason, they stopped the day AFTER I reset my TPM. Odd. But, I guess I'd suggest others do the same thing (make sure you turn off Bitlocker first if you have it on).

    Anyway, thanks.

EDIT: According to this site, I posted that this didn't work on 02/10/2023 7:29 AM and, looking at my event log, I'm pretty sure I'd reset my TPM about an hour earlier. Between the change and my post, I'd done multiple reboots (even into Safe Mode). Yet, the autopilot errors continued until about 9:30PM when I'm pretty sure I shut down my computer for the night (85 instances of autopilot errors that day). Since then, none. I don't see any updates having taken place in my Windows Update history, so, again, it looks like resetting the TPM was what fixed it. But, why it took all day, through multiple reboots, I don't know.

... If I understood chris__74's 09-Feb-2023 post <above> (and Google Translate is accurate) they were able to stop these errors by resetting their TPM module . I haven't tried that yet, but on my Win 10 OS I assume a TPM reset can be done at at Windows Security | Device Security | Security Processor | Security Processor Details | Security Processor Troubleshooting and then clicking "Clear TPM" or by entering tpm.msc in a Run dialog box (Windows key + R) to open the TPM Management Console and clicking "Clear TPM". Have you tried this possible workaround?...

I should also warn users that if they use Bitlocker Disk Encryption and plan try chris__74's suggestion to reset their TPM module that they should probably suspend or disable Bitlocker first (e.g., at Control Panel | Security | Bitlocker Drive Encryption for Professional editions of Windows) and ensure that they have their 48-digit Bitlocker recovery key on hand before starting. Bitlocker is currently turned off on my Win 10 Pro v22H2 laptop and I have no idea what unexpected problems might arise if you reset your TPM module while Bitlocker is enabled.

I'll add that warning to my earlier post.

    2/2/23 - Same issue on a clean install of Win11 22H2 from 2/2/23 on a Dell/Alienware Ryzen R5.

System extremely unstable. Outlook crashes frequently (about every 20-30 minutes); applications hang and crash often. Eventually, the entire OS will crash to a black screen and my laptop reboots. Even after reboot, system performance and stability is poor. This performance issue is PRIMARILY seen in any MICROSOFT application, such as Office, Edge, and pretty much anything downloaded from the MS store....

    Hi Jason Holt 2:

According to my Event Viewer I've had about 500 of these ModernDeployment-Diagnostics-Provider / Autopilot.dll WIL errors on my Dell Inspiron 5584 / Win 10 Pro v22H2 laptop in the past week and they don't seem to have caused any system instability or obvious problems like MS Outlook crashes.

Have you tried this possible workaround? If these errors are related to the firmware for the TPM module on the motherboard then that might explain why your Windows 11 reinstall didn't stop the Autopilot.dll WIL errors.

Since you have an Alienware Ryzen R5, I'm also wondering if you see any FirmwareTPM.exe errors (Application Error Event ID 1000) logged in your Windows Reliability Monitor that have been reported by other Dell users, including myself. These FirmwareTPM APPCRASHs are apparently triggered by Dell utilities like SupportAssist and Dell/Alienware Update for Windows Universal - see my thread Reliability Monitor Logging FirmwareTPM.exe APPCRASHs Since 19-Nov-2022 in the Dell SupportAssist for PCs board.
