1 I have just updated my 21H2 to 22H2 where I cannot re-install Windows 10 File explorer Ribbon which was possible earlier with Win 11 21H2. How can I effect this?

Are the Copy to, Move to options available on Win 10 still available on Win 11 Pro? If available how can I operate them?

I wouldn't hold your breath. It doesn't seem that Microsoft gives a toss about people who actually use their software but I would like to be proved wrong in this instance.
In the meantime I think Startallback is the most practical solution for now. https://www.startallback.com/
There is a reasnoable trial period but the paid version is only about 4 quid, so not such a bad solution.
I tried a few a the method but I couldn't get the new tabs AND the Win10 ribbon. is that not possible at the moment ?
Start all back (startisback) is the easiest cure...for now. It has a long trial period so hopefully Microsoft will return the ribbon option before it runs out. I was using "explorer patcher" before this change, along with "open shell" (classic shell), and "win-aero" to keep the various features I came to like over the years since XP. As noted in my previous post, loading explorer that way works fine for the ribbon but it returns to the new taskbar that ex. patcher had "fixed" and it was taller on my second display.
I am currently still using all those apps but added startallback. Everything works fine with only one glitch...I have 2 start buttons, one from startallback (as win7) and one from openshell. This required one small tweak because the 1 button partially overlays the other. I had to resize the openshell start image fille. I used PS to shrink the image and then expand the canvas to the left. So I now have 2 start buttons with different menus, the old taskbar, the ribbon, etc. and a lot of available tweaks for windows.
So for now, give Start all back a try but keep in mind you will get 2 start menus if you are using Open Shell
note: the image I referred to is actually part of startallback, in the "Orbs" folder. I used it because it was convenient.
I hate all of this! I have a PC with Win 10 and a laptop with Win 11 22H2 and can not figure out the new File Manager. The Win 10 version was so easy for searching files, moving, everything. None of the "hacks" or registry changes worked for me in attempting to get the "new" back to the "old." I end up downloading files to an external hard drive to put onto the PC just so I can figure out what I'm trying to do. These MS programmers work with this stuff all day, and forget that normal folks don't and are without the expertise to adapt to the changes. I wish I had stayed with Win 10!
Thanks, I can't agree more. I feel like Microsoft just doesn't care about the people who actually use their software. Why you remove a feature that is very useable is beyond my understanding.
