windows mail app displays html code in emails

I am running windows 11. When using the windows mail and agenda app some emails appear in their html format. This is an example:

    Hi DeBs. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you.

    This is being widely reported and afflicts only the Mail app, as you can read the same mails in the provider's account in a browser. I expected it to be fixed by now but apparently we need more Feedback to be filed to get developer's attention.

    If you want to add your voice to report this bug to Microsoft you may be able to help improve this product/experience by using the Feedback Hub in Start Menu. While they will probably not see this here in the forums, Microsoft developers DO read feedback from customers that comes in via the Feedback Hub, so that is a great way to share your thoughts on how to better serve you as a customer.

    Hi Debs

    I've had the same problem as you since the begining of June with the mail App and my AOL emails. It looks like they have sorted it out with Windows 11 but not 10. I see Greg suggested using the feedback hub but I thought that was the idea of these forums was for Microsoft Techies to pick up problems we raise or is it too much for them.

    Did you try the feedback hub and as I'm still receiving my emails (only certain ones and the webbrowser works OK) it looks like this problem still persists.

    Let me know how you get on and if necessary I'll try it as well.

    I have the same problem with my AOL email account on the Mail App and have just reported this issue on the feedback hub. Hope I get a speedy response as this has been going on now for over 2 months!!

    This is happening all of the time to me as well. I have to use the web browser to read about 1/3 of the emails I receive.

    I have Windows 11 (an upgrade from 10) yet am having the problem. Not all AOL emails but it seems to select the most important ones to process incorrectly.
