windows mail app displays html code in emails

I am running windows 11. When using the windows mail and agenda app some emails appear in their html format. This is an example:

    Well mine seems to be fixed now, but have just noticed it's no longer called Mail but Outlook?

    Seeing is believing, right? I did give feedback in Mail, but not sure if that helps.

    Hi Tina

    I contacted Microsoft Support on Wednesday for the 8th time as this problem has been going on for over 12 months now!!

    This is their reply .

    "As I check ongoing bug status, the issue is still not resolved. Last time when you raised a request the issue is on investigation process. Now the issue is close to resolution, why it is taking time is because Mail app consists lots of customers data and Microsoft have higher concern about customers data. We won't take any decisions and perform any troubleshooting steps which will cause data loss to our valuable customers."

    Seeing as they are close to resolution on this we'll see this sorted end of the month??? Fingers crossed.

    It might help if Debs who raised this on this post contact Support for an update. The more they get they should get things moving.

    It's now June 2023 and the problem still exists in the Mail app. Yes, I can access the mail on the mail provider's website, but it defeats the purpose of using Mail and having all my email addresses receive mail in one location. Very frustrating. Someone suggested I delete my email addresses from Mail and set them up again. It did not work for me, only created more issues.

    Very frustrated and disappointed with Microsoft.
