Every time I go to use the Epson Printer (ET-2750), with Windows 11, it never finds the printer, it has to search it out. I usually have to go to the Printer app & "Remind" it that it's the printer. It goes through this troubleshooting mode of finally doing something to the "Spooler" and then it will kick on & recognize the printer. I have called Epson numerous times on this. But it appears to be the problem of Windows 11 and not Epson.

2023-03-18T19:15:24+00:00 I just ran into this, yesterday, March 17th 2023.
I've also been on Windows 11 since perhaps a few months after it came out and I never had an issue until a recent update in March of 2023.
After checking the cable, I noticed my 5 USB port was slightly loose, however, I doubt this was the cause of this issue.
Just like most software, it's fickle - and "installing just right" is often times a thing, unfortunately.
I solved this issue by installing the same software 3 times, over and over and over.
Updating & downloading a [different file], and installing it again and again.
Meaning, I had the - 1st Install, which failed, then "Install (1)" software download file / name repeated, which failed, and finally Install (2) which worked.
Window search printer - set Install (3) as default.
I removed them from the icon tray (as 3 showed up)
- Monitor preferences
- Remove icon tray
- Cleaned up the 2 that weren't being used.
I just ran into this yesterday, fixed it, corrected the duplicate icon tray, reset the default printer, and cleaned it up.
* PC/Windows 11/Epson XP-6100

2023-03-11T18:05:30+00:00 Have you tried downloading and running the Epson Connect Printer Setup utility? I know it seems too simple but I was having all kinds of problems with printing and scanning from Windows 11 and that cleared up the problem.
Also, when you bring up Epson Scan on 11, you need to press the Alt key to enable it.
I'll would be curious to find out if any of this helps, so hopefully you can reply with results.

Finally got Epson ET2800 to print on newest Lenovo desktop with Windows 11, but it won't scan - did fine on my 10 year old PC with Windows 8.1. even though the printer was very new for it. Didn't anticipate having problems with a new PC on Windows 11. Followed various installs. Nothing works. Not sure if it is an Epson issue or Windows 11 issue. Looks like quite a few Windows 11 printer and scanner issues.

2023-03-04T22:19:38+00:00 Well this seems almost too simple, but I'll share what worked for me. I installed Epson Connect Printer Setup on my pc and ran the utility. Magically, my printer and scanner started working!
You can easily download the utility typing the name into the Windows Search bar and install it from there.
I don't know if that will work for everybody but it did for me, so if you still have problems and haven't tried that, why not give it a go?
