Epson printer issues with Windows 11

Every time I go to use the Epson Printer (ET-2750), with Windows 11, it never finds the printer, it has to search it out. I usually have to go to the Printer app & "Remind" it that it's the printer. It goes through this troubleshooting mode of finally doing something to the "Spooler" and then it will kick on & recognize the printer. I have called Epson numerous times on this. But it appears to be the problem of Windows 11 and not Epson.

-Has anyone experienced this issue?

    My new laptop came with Windows installed, and my Epson tank printer wouldn't work with it. I loved my Epson printer and was lucky that it was still under warranty, so I upgraded to the new version of the Epson ET4800. Loved that printer, too, but I had the same issues. Neither Windows nor Epson seemed to have an answer for me, and the drivers provided didn't work unless I went through a routine of turning off and turning on my laptop every time I wanted to print.

    I finally gave up, returned the newer Epson, and bought an HP Smart Tank printer. So far, after a week and lots of printing full pages of color art pieces, it's working. It's quick, the color is great, it prints double-sided, and I'm still holding my breath and crossing my fingers, but I'll tell you, I don't want any new updates for a while!

    Every time Windows has done a major update, I ended up having to buy a new printer. Now, they want me to update to Windows 11, and I am understandably reluctant. Why is it so difficult for Microsoft to fix this?

    I have an old Epson DX8400 that I just use for scanning. I recently upgraded from Win 10 to 11 and would like to share my experience with you. The Epson Scan app opens but the Preview and Scan buttons are missing, however if you move the mouse to where they should be and left mouse button click the button appears and will Preview or Scan as appropriate.

    P.S. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the software - no help. Windows 11 sucks.

    Thanks, I just HATE to go back to Windows 10. Not that I didn't really like it! Going back will cost me to purchase the program (Windows 11 was installed on my new laptop), but I'll also lose everything on my laptop as far as icons and all that stuff. Programs. Apps. But I do have all my photos, graphics, and documents on an external drive, so I won't lose those. I guess I'll bite the bullet and go back. I've done a bunch of stuff today and the printer is working, but probably tomorrow it won't. As soon as that happens, I'll get Windows 10. And probably be happy with my printer again!
