Epson printer issues with Windows 11

Every time I go to use the Epson Printer (ET-2750), with Windows 11, it never finds the printer, it has to search it out. I usually have to go to the Printer app & "Remind" it that it's the printer. It goes through this troubleshooting mode of finally doing something to the "Spooler" and then it will kick on & recognize the printer. I have called Epson numerous times on this. But it appears to be the problem of Windows 11 and not Epson.

-Has anyone experienced this issue?

    Just like others in this thread, 

    when I try to use the windows shared printer feature (an Epson WF-2830 via USB), which is connected to a windows-10 primary computer on a private peer to peer network, windows 11 hits a wall and never connects to the 

    printer device. All I get is a mini advisory window that says in part . . . "windows could not connect to the 

    printer". That windows 11 OS is running on a surface pro 8 tablet computer which works A-OK as a peer in our at home wired network. The printer address is \primary computer name\EPSON6C9720 

    and works just fine doing the shared device [printer] connection routine on the other win 10 peer computers in our household. 

    What is it about windows 11 that blocks adding a shared printer device?

    SOOO Just for someone else looking at this issue with Windows 11...

    I tried everything. Undoing the last update... removing and trying to reinstall my printer.. etc. Turns out that the windows setting was set to "do not allow connecting to other devices" which stopped me from being able to use my Epsom EcoTank ET-4760 printer. I manually downloaded the driver from epsom here. Hope this helps someone going through the same headache!!!!

    I have a WF-3640 which worked fine when I first updated to W11, then suddenly it stopped working today. I updated all my drivers but still can't communicate with either the printer or the scanner. I know it's not a printer problem because I can still print and scan from my laptop which is Windows 10.

    Any suggestions?

    Unfortunately, my window to go back has closed. However, I did discover that windows defender has 3 parts, and all three have to be disabled individually. So far, so good. We shall see.

    Still not working. Thought I"had it" but alas, failure again. I even tried USB connection, and that doesn't work either. I contacted Epson. The reply was "Paper Jam". Needless to say, I was livid.....

    I had windows 10 restored on my laptop and everything worked again.
