Every time I go to use the Epson Printer (ET-2750), with Windows 11, it never finds the printer, it has to search it out. I usually have to go to the Printer app & "Remind" it that it's the printer. It goes through this troubleshooting mode of finally doing something to the "Spooler" and then it will kick on & recognize the printer. I have called Epson numerous times on this. But it appears to be the problem of Windows 11 and not Epson.

Unfortunately, my window to go back has closed. However, I did discover that windows defender has 3 parts, and all three have to be disabled individually. So far, so good. We shall see.
Still not working. Thought I"had it" but alas, failure again. I even tried USB connection, and that doesn't work either. I contacted Epson. The reply was "Paper Jam". Needless to say, I was livid.....
My god, the fury and hatred that wells up in me E-V-E-R-Y time I go to print something is indescribable. I have literally wasted MONTHS of my life, possibly even YEARS of my life, fighting printer and scanner driver issues since the mid '80s. The level of anger is at PURE RAGE now.
What usually works for me (for this current computer-OS-printer combination of rage-inducing BS), and usually only after fighting it anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 to 6 or more hours, is to go the Services tool, open it with "Administrator" privileges, that is, right-click it then choose "Run as administrator", then scroll down the long list of items and find "Print Spooler", right-click it then select "Restart".
Yeah, I have Windows 11 and an ET-4500 series printer and it appears "Offline" EVERY time I go to print something whether it's a day later or a month or many months later. I use my computer every day but I don't print every day. (Which is a whole different issue when print quality with ink-jet printers is concerned. Down right atrocious.)
I'm pretty sure the problem is due to lame **** developers at Epson who don't know how to follow the rules for coding drivers for printers. Whatever the case, I'm fighting my printer now. I even went so far as to call support, which I never do because it is almost always a waste of time: "Did you try turning it off and on?", "Did you try reinstalling the drivers?", "Can you call back on a Tuesday because we built our software to only work on Tuesdays?" (Yeah, that last one is not a real response though, I got a response almost as lame as that not too long ago.)
The problem today seems related to the printer thinking the Wi-Fi signal to the router is bad (it is Comcrap's, I mean Crapcast's, I mean Crapfinity's, I mean Xfinity's modem/router). This Wi-Fi signal issue seems new since the "restart the Print Spooler" trick used to work fairly well.
Whatever, I'm going to just recycle this gawd-awful piece of junk Epson printer and buy an HP. The issue I've had with Canon printers is that the ink dries and easily clogs up the ink-jet printer and I could never get it to work very well because only half the ink would come out and onto the page after a time. I thought with this Eco-Tank thing from Epson maybe they had actually addressed the dry ink problem. But no, this printer ... when it worked ... only barely worked if I ran many multiple head-cleaning tasks. But with that, the problem with this Epson ET-4500 is that the corners of my pages would end up looking they got dipped in ink. One corner or the other would be wet with black ink that I had to treat carefully until it dried.
Hell for me would be putting me in the back office of a company and making me make ink-jet printers work for the rest of eternity.
Grrrrrrr. Finally got Epson ET2800 to print on newest Lenovo desktop with Windows 11, but it won't scan - did fine on my 10 year old PC with Windows 8.1. even though the printer was very new for it. Didn't anticipate having problems with a new PC on Windows 11. Followed various installs. Nothing works. Not sure if it is an Epson issue or Windows 11 issue. Looks like quite a few Windows 11 printer and scanner issues.
I tried that, thank you for your reply. What finally did work -- is I deleted and uninstalled everything related to EPSON. Then I connected the Epson printer to my router with an ethernet cable. Then everything fell into place! Don't know what caused the headaches in the first place, but I'm able to print and couldn't be happier right now.
So, I too was having issues with the Espon Workforce 520 printer not printing despite the printer being connected to my wifi network. AFter many failed attempts, I decided to reinstall the drivers from the Epson website but sitting next to the router. That seems to be the magic trick. It atleast found the printer and made it usable. It even printed a test page. Now hopefully it is reconnected for good. I pray. Hopefully, no mo drama!!
