Windows 11: WiFi gone after sleep

My laptop is installed with Windows 11 Home Single Language and uses the network adapter of Realtek 8822CE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC.

Every time when I put my laptop in sleep mode, the WiFi disconnected automatically, and the network adapter driver also disappeared from the list of device manager. After I restart my laptop, everything goes back to normal, but I would like to resolve this issue permanently.

I have updated the driver, but the issue still persists. Below are the images that illustrate the issue.

  1. When this issue happens, the WIFI icon also disappeared

  1. I run troubleshooting, it states that there is no proper network adapter driver installed

  1. The WIFI's network adapters driver disappear from the list of device manager when this issue happens.

  1. After I restart my computer, the WIFI connection back to normal, with the WIFI icon appearing and the driver appearing in the device manager.

HOWEVER, this issue comes back every time after, I put my laptop into sleep mode.

    I have the same issue. My computer will go to sleep and then all wifi networks disappear. The only fix is to restart the laptop, which is annoying.

    I have the exact same thing here, the only possible way i can tempolary fix it is restart the laptop.
    I try 'reset the pc' but the problem still persist.

    Well, I have the same issue. When my computer sleeps, it comes back with "Wifi unavailable"

    When i restart, all is well, and back to normal.

    Getting tired of restarting,

    I have the same issue on and rog strix with a wifi 6 certified wifi board.

    It worked perfectly on win 10 but 11 seems to have forgotten something along the way.

    It is clearly a win 11 issue.

    I tried all the stupid fixes and none work - clean reinstall, network reset bla bla bla bla.

    My fix WITHOUT restart -- go to DEVICE Manager - network adapters -- wifi adapter -- properties --Advanced

    And I change a property - i usually change 802.11 ax/ac/n.

    I change it from ax to ac and than back again and this does the trick in a few seconds without the need to restart.

    It forces a board wake up...apparently.

    All of this for one line of code...i am sure....

    It is lame that microsoft did not fix this issue for such a long time. It affects lots of machines.

    I hate it because if I take a short brake from work I need to do this in order to restore wifi.

    I will set the laptop to nonstop.

    "Thank you" Microsoft for a bigger electricity bill.
