Windows 11: WiFi gone after sleep

My laptop is installed with Windows 11 Home Single Language and uses the network adapter of Realtek 8822CE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC.

Every time when I put my laptop in sleep mode, the WiFi disconnected automatically, and the network adapter driver also disappeared from the list of device manager. After I restart my laptop, everything goes back to normal, but I would like to resolve this issue permanently.

I have updated the driver, but the issue still persists. Below are the images that illustrate the issue.

  1. WIFI has gone after sleep mode.

  1. When this issue happens, the WIFI icon also disappeared

  1. I run troubleshooting, it states that there is no proper network adapter driver installed

  1. The WIFI's network adapters driver disappear from the list of device manager when this issue happens.

  1. After I restart my computer, the WIFI connection back to normal, with the WIFI icon appearing and the driver appearing in the device manager.

HOWEVER, this issue comes back every time after, I put my laptop into sleep mode.

    If you have not already tried the other potential solutions on this thread I would suggest trying those.

    You can also look at the following registry key also. Expand to the DefaultPowerSchemeValues and change the ACSettings and DCSetting for each one to 1 if it's not already. I found this registry key while looking for the other one. If none of the other solutions nor the two I've posted work then I am at a loss.

    Good to hear. I just opened my laptop for the first time in 24 hours and it was still connected. I think safe to say it worked.

    Applied this 2 hours ago and computer went to sleep when woke it is working still. Amazing that 1 single number can fix so many problems. Ill try to remember to post again in a day or two to give a real update and see if this 100% fixed the issue

    You might try looking for new drivers as they could make a difference.

    That may well work, but that article refers to Windows 7.
