No fix from M$?
Windows 11: WiFi gone after sleep
My laptop is installed with Windows 11 Home Single Language and uses the network adapter of Realtek 8822CE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC.
Every time when I put my laptop in sleep mode, the WiFi disconnected automatically, and the network adapter driver also disappeared from the list of device manager. After I restart my laptop, everything goes back to normal, but I would like to resolve this issue permanently.
I have updated the driver, but the issue still persists. Below are the images that illustrate the issue.
- WIFI has gone after sleep mode.
- When this issue happens, the WIFI icon also disappeared
- I run troubleshooting, it states that there is no proper network adapter driver installed
- The WIFI's network adapters driver disappear from the list of device manager when this issue happens.
- After I restart my computer, the WIFI connection back to normal, with the WIFI icon appearing and the driver appearing in the device manager.
HOWEVER, this issue comes back every time after, I put my laptop into sleep mode.

2024-03-13T13:42:28+00:00 Hi
Win 10 pro 64 bit
There is no Bluetooth device setting in device manager.
Cant find the setting as there is no bluetooth device or driver on this machine
Perhaps in W11 they are available only by default.
Where in device manager is the by device?
Idont believe there are any option for its setting a power management setting of there isn't an installed device.
Did I miss somethjng?
Cheers

2023-10-16T16:45:59+00:00 The tradeoff is WPA2 is vulnerable and poses a security risk compared to WPA3. Glad you found a fix that works for you personally. For others, it's worth understanding this before making a change.

2023-10-02T15:53:23+00:00 My issue is identical to others. When laptop with Win11 sleeps or hibernates, regardless of length of time, it wakes with a disconnected WIFI. Only way to resolve is to do a RESTART and then WIFI reconnects automatically. The SOLUTION with the REGEDIT adjustment to 2 did not work for me and I followed the instructions to a T. What else could be wrong?
