Issues with receiving emails in code for Yahoo Mail

Hello,

My wife and I recently started seeing some emails in code. We both use Yahoo Mail. She has Window 10 and I have 11. Does anyone have a possible solution to fix this? These emails are from trusted sources and sometimes they are not in code. Any help appreciated!

    I too have this problem and am frustrated that it has been happening for at least a month +. I agree this should be a priority for MS to fix

    My problem began in July of this year. Strangely, not everything comes in code, but what is coded are from known (not junk, nor blocked) major companies that send adverts and such in bulk mail. and not addressed to me personally. I had been able to receive them correctly up to then. So far, the only commonality seems to be bulk mail from certain major companies. Personal email exchanges are not affected, nor is my online daily newspaper. I haven't been able to narrow it down anymore yet. Thank you all for whatever input you can offer.

    Not all of my emails are coded but a large amount are not junk, I.e. the response you sent came through as coded text on my laptop but was able to open it on this IPad.

    Professional and important emails are coming through as coded text and this is not acceptable, if they know there’s a bug then they need to fix it now!

    I agree MS need to sort this out as their software is not fit for purpose. I have no problem with mail on my mobile or in my Sky/Yahoo mail account just on Windows 11 mail..

    Hello and thanks for your comments and observations.

    Yes, if I go directly to my Yahoo account and sign in, I can view the content but not if I go to my Windows 10 Mail, which is where I have all my accounts (Yahoo, Hotmail and Sympatico) conveniently set up.

    I'm wondering if we had a corrupt update earlier this year. Would we be able to backtrack so that we could view our update history? Grasping at straws here...
