Issues with receiving emails in code for Yahoo Mail

Hello,

My wife and I recently started seeing some emails in code. We both use Yahoo Mail. She has Window 10 and I have 11. Does anyone have a possible solution to fix this? These emails are from trusted sources and sometimes they are not in code. Any help appreciated!

Thank You!

Hi, Gerry. I don't have this and honestly I don't even know what OpenOffice is. I have Office 365, if that's any help. And my updates are installed automatically when I shut down.

    Hi buddy.

No I do not have open office installed.

MS need a bloody good kick up the rear end for ignoring all these complaints.

    Best of luck

I guess a few people are in the same boat here with unwanted coded emails. You are right extremely frustrating!! 100%

I also have uninstalled the app re-added my yahoo accounts. through the Yahoo mail app, no problem for me on Android with Samsung phone at all (So far...!).

I then logged in to my Yahoo account using the Microsoft Edge/Bing browser and logged in to my yahoo or email accounts and viewing them in proper receivable and readable form (No code showing) they were fine.

Let's hope this fix gets resolved soon!

    Mike

We are being ignored by MS support and it's high time they produced a patch to fix this.

I'm also now having problems with Windows Update.

This one: 2022-08 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5012170)

And this one: 2022-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5016616)

go through the motions of installing, then when the PC restarts it says "unable to install" and removes all the changes. I've tried this now 4 times with the same result each time. I'm running Windows 10 Pro and all the updates except for those noted, have been made.

Question...is "OpenOffice" installed on your PC?

Yes. Even the e-mail responses to this posting arive in HTML format! I can only view them either on a mobile phone or on the Yahoo website. Windows Mail client doesn't display them in neither Windows 10 nor Windows 11.
