Hi Marie,
I and many others have this problem but you can read your email by going directly to the yahoo mail site instead of using Windows mail. That address is https://mail.yahoo.com/ Hope this helps!

Hello,
My wife and I recently started seeing some emails in code. We both use Yahoo Mail. She has Window 10 and I have 11. Does anyone have a possible solution to fix this? These emails are from trusted sources and sometimes they are not in code. Any help appreciated!
Thank You!

First time I have received email in code. I do not recognize the sender's address or the names I can make out as cc'd and in the text. I did not send the email, so I cannot resend. And I have no other devices such as a mobile phone, only a laptop computer. Is there a way to convert the code so it is readable in English? Thanks.
Yes, resending from the actual Yahoo mail website or from another device such as a mobile phone...
Hi, Mark Stanfield.
I will have to try this, resending to myself. Thanks for this.
Yes, I do a similar thing.
If I forward the important mail from my actual yahoo website email account to the same email address (sending it to myself in effect) it then appears correctly on my Windows mail laptop!
The glitch therefore is related to the original email sender(s).
To re-cap, some emails are fine but others appear as HTML code in the Windows Mail app.
However, if I forward them to myself from the yahoo website or from anywhere where they appear normal such as from my android phone they then appear as normal on my Windows Mail app.
