Issues with receiving emails in code for Yahoo Mail

Hello,

My wife and I recently started seeing some emails in code. We both use Yahoo Mail. She has Window 10 and I have 11. Does anyone have a possible solution to fix this? These emails are from trusted sources and sometimes they are not in code. Any help appreciated!

Thank You!

    Hi, Mike 4321.

This is beyond my realm but I do have a tech-lover in the family so I will run this by them and will report back. Thanks for this.

I contacted Microsoft about this problem. Their response is at the bottom of this post.

I don't believe this is the correct solution as a friend runs Mail for Windows but not Yahoo and receives the same emails as me in clear text. Reading another thread on the same subject, I have followed a suggestion of turning off some controls in my anti virus app. I will report back if it works.

Once again we have a well known problem which both Microsoft and Yahoo must know about but no communication - ironic as it is a communication platform that is giving the problem.

Yes I / we know that. My mobile phone emails are okay too so it proves there's a fault with Microsoft Windows Mail client.

Whatv a good idea! I have been deleting 20 to 30 emails per day, even some from PayPal. Most are advertisements from sellers I have often used, so Microsoft is actually taking their advertising money under false pretences - maybe if the advertisersstarted shouting, Microsoft would listen, meanwhile I'm spending less, so that's one positive thing!

If you have your mail on your iphone as well, you can read those bad one there, so it must be something to do with the platform????? Anyway, since some of them are advertisements and PayPal notifications, you would think that the back-room boys would be motivated to fix it, I must just delete 20 or30 adverts a day because they are unreadable, and that means a lot of wasted money to them!!!!

    Cheers, Alan
