Blue Screen Kernel security check failed

I've had this blue screen on a brand new install of Windows 11, I've updated all drivers, I've also run sfc scan and DISM commands, none returned any errors. I've uploaded the minidump to OneDrive, and I'd appreciate it if anyone could take a look at it and tell me what could be causing this error.

Here's the link to the minidump file: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtII6RheVqT8hNdiUUUN7wg5OXwsIQ?e=Tqr93R

The computer had BSOD with Windows 11 and Windows 10.

The findings are consistent with malfunctioning hardware.

Some of the steps that were performed earlier in this thread may be repeated.

Testing hardware using software stress tests unfortunately often displays pass when there is malfunctioning hardware (false negative).

Typically swap testing is required.

  1. Download and install one of these temperature monitoring software:

Speccy

https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy

HWMonitor

https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Speedfan https://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

  1. Run Prime95 https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/16474-prime95-stress-test-your-cpu.html Test for 3 hours.

Make note of when to abort testing in the link.

Post images or share links into this thread.

Record the continuous testing time and the highest temperature.

  1. Run Furmark https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/13081-furmark-gpu-stress-test.html Test for 30 minutes.

Make note of when to abort testing in the link.

Post images or share links into this thread.

Record the continuous testing time and the highest temperature.

  1. Run Memtest86 (free version) https://www.memtest86.com/ Run two tests of four passes each (total eight passes)

Take pictures and post images or share links into this thread.

Memtest86 has a feature to create text reports.

If possible, include the text reports with the images in the share links.

  1. Run HD Tune

https://www.hdtune.com/

Post images or share links for results on these tabs:

a) Health

b) Benchmark

c) Full error scan

These can be performed overnight while sleeping:

a) Memtest86

b) HD Tune full error scan

It'll take a few days for me to test everything on the other RAM but I'll get started right away. I forgot to say earlier, but I haven't replaced anything in this laptop. I've only added one RAM stick and 2 SSDs, and both SSDs had been used on a PC I had previously with no issues. If in the end there are no issues pointing to either RAM module, I'll try contacting the manufacturer, then. I was trying to avoid that because it usually takes a month or longer, which I can't really afford to stop working and studying altogether for that long.

I really appreciate your help, though! At least, after fixing the issues that came up while testing, the PC went from crashing within minutes, to crashing after over 30h!

Software stress testing to identify malfunctioning hardware is suboptimal as it often displays pass and is often insufficient to identify malfunctions.

The best testing is swap testing.

However there are few components that can be swapped in a laptop.

The remaining testing that can be done in this forum is to test one RAM module at a time.

This may or may not identify malfunctioning RAM.

For RAM testing remove all RAM modules and label them.

Then test each module in the same DIMM.

If there are BSOD in a short time frame then move on to the next RAM module.

If there no BSOD then test the RAM module for as long as possible to have a better testing environment.

If all RAM modules cause computer instability in the same DIMM then test another DIMM.

If RAM is malfunctioning then replace the RAM with the same part number so that there are no mismatched RAM modules.

If testing of each RAM module in the same DIMM and in another DIMM cause computer instability then there may be malfunctioning CPU or motherboard.

Again there are limitations for testing hardware.

It would then require testing in a local computer store or with the computer manufacturer.

Should I swap RAM and start testing all of this again now?

On the bright side, it took over 30h this time for a crash. It seems the system shut down while I was asleep, no blue screens, just an unexpected shutdown in Reliability history. I found it weird that it didn't restart, even though I never set a password for this user after installing Windows 10.

Please make sure that the three HD Tune tests are performed on each drive.

Indicate if all components are original or whether some were replaced.

Check the RAM modules to see if there are or are not on the computer manufacturer's Qualified Vendor List (QVL).

    Run OCCT

(each tab is approximately a one hour test)

    https://www.ocbase.com/

Post images or share links into this thread.

The computer has had BSOD with both Windows 11 and Windows 10.

When Windows 10 was installed it was installed with new drivers.

Browsers should not be related to computer instability as they were replaced during the Windows 10 installation too.

If OCCT results display pass then I'm not aware of any additional steps except for swap testing the RAM modules and or swap testing the disk drive on the laptop.

Contact Acer to see if they have any additional troubleshooting methods for the laptop.

Contact a local computer repair shop for troubleshooting.
