After updating the bios, im unable to activate windows 11, which was already activated. You're telling me I can't update the bios without windows freaking out. I paid for this product and now the only thing the troubleshooter is telling me to do is to just buy another product key. How the hell do I go about fixing this since windows services is just an utter joke? I'm constantly having to deal with fixing **** issues with windows 11. This product is a big joke. The "get help" app does nothing but direct me to exactly what their windows activation page is on the website.
Contacting support did nothing. They told me it's not their issue. Quality service M$

Same here. I installed new GPU card, it didn't show any image on POST so I updated the BIOS, it fixed the GPU problem, but it wiped out the BitLocker keys, I couldn't find the backup key so I had to reinstall windows. Windows won't activate with the same product key, there is no "hardware changed" option.
self build msi mother board activated from old license fine worked great bios update and kicked my pin out of login had to create a new one thought that was strange hour later bam no window tried lots of fixes?troubleshoot this problem is a dead end microsoft get it together
Yes, they need to discuss with motherboard suppliers to enforce guidelines for BIOS update... it's a real mess
Feb 16/02/2023, same issue with Aorus Z690 Pro updated to latest Bios f23a at the time... Windows 11 Pro deactivated. Thanks Microsoft.
Issue with TPM I suspect. Can't use XMP 1 either thanks to Core Integrity protection activated. Locks RAM to 3000 MHz not 6000 MHz.
This needs to be resolved as it has surpassed MSI only motherboards.
I just had the exact same issue after updating my MSI motherboard bios. In my Window's account it now shows 2 devices. I started a chat log with Microsoft support but I think they are unaware of the issue - or atleast the person dealing with my request said 2 devices appeared because I have a different monitor - seriouslly?
