Windows activation after bios update

After updating the bios, im unable to activate windows 11, which was already activated. You're telling me I can't update the bios without windows freaking out. I paid for this product and now the only thing the troubleshooter is telling me to do is to just buy another product key. How the hell do I go about fixing this since windows services is just an utter joke? I'm constantly having to deal with fixing **** issues with windows 11. This product is a big joke. The "get help" app does nothing but direct me to exactly what their windows activation page is on the website.

Contacting support did nothing. They told me it's not their issue. Quality service M$

    same issuer here, updated bios to the newest one on my MSI Z690-A and windows activation no more active, this worked for me

    launch these in the powersheell command

    • slmgr -upk: This command uninstalls the product key from your computer, effectively removing the Windows 11 license.
    • slmgr /rearm: This command resets the licensing status of your device, allowing you to enter a new product key or try activating Windows 11 again.

    restart

    try to re-enter your windows key - it will not work so click on "i recently changed hardware"

    select the pc name adn VOILA

    i hope this will help some of you

    I tied this method many, many time before and never worked for me. Might be for keys other than MS Store digital license.

    Thanks for the advice though.

    Thank you for the reply. Yeah, they tried this. So my issue has been solved. I should have mentioned that this computer has 2 operating systems, Windows 10 and Hackintosh. Two separate SSDs for each boot. Turns out my issue was bootloader related. The Opencore bootloader was set to recreate profile on boot, so when I cleared the NVRAM, on the next boot a new SMBIOS profile was created causing conflict with the Windows boot. It was no longer recognizing the newly created profile; this option has since been changed. After a couple reboots back and forth, the default profile on the Windows side was recreated and thus Windows reactivated itself.

    I have the same issue with Windows 10 after doing a hardware upgrade and updating the BIOS of the ASRock Z790 Pro RS. Windows gives me the error 0x803FABBD and when I use the troubleshooter, click the "Changed Hardware" button and select my device there, it says, it was already reactivated but it's not. I upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10, so I don't have a key.
