Windows activation after bios update

After updating the bios, im unable to activate windows 11, which was already activated. You're telling me I can't update the bios without windows freaking out. I paid for this product and now the only thing the troubleshooter is telling me to do is to just buy another product key. How the hell do I go about fixing this since windows services is just an utter joke? I'm constantly having to deal with fixing **** issues with windows 11. This product is a big joke. The "get help" app does nothing but direct me to exactly what their windows activation page is on the website.

Contacting support did nothing. They told me it's not their issue. Quality service M$

    I used a digital OEM license. There were some work arounds (disabling internet, killing certain processes) which made it possible to install win11 with a local account.

    The real test will be on your next bios flash because it seems like they allow one grace activation on those OEM licenses :D

    It makes sense that it would be a TPM related issue as it sounds like it would be useful for machine fingerprinting. It doesn't make sense that it's still an issue two years after releasing win11 with a TPM 2.0 requirement. :D I think they've been doing fingerprinting since at least winXP (2001) ? I've never had a problem with it before!

    Are there that few pc builders that update their bios?

    Pretty much one year old issue, known to microsoft. I did a bios flash, the second one on this motherboard but was the first bios flash after license transfer from an old win pro 10 pc. I read of a workaround just too late to test it (disable tpm, login windows, change pin as requested and just after this procedure should be safe to flash bios from now on)

    I read many posts of people asking support after this issue, since z690 chipset motherboard. The lack of support from microsoft, as we stated too many times, is unprofessional and embarrassing to say the least, and according to a tech south-african freelancer (Pyburn if you're interested), microsoft find it easier to crack a genuine license that present activation issues than just solve the problem...

    Well, you can solve the problem the same way with the same tool, maintaining you're retail version of the license. That's a fact, don't ask :)

    It's a 3 minute time fix, instead of waiting 3 weeks for a non-existent support, and it's suspicious that they cancelled phone and live chat support just at the same time this problems arose. Coincidence?
