Windows activation after bios update

After updating the bios, im unable to activate windows 11, which was already activated. You're telling me I can't update the bios without windows freaking out. I paid for this product and now the only thing the troubleshooter is telling me to do is to just buy another product key. How the hell do I go about fixing this since windows services is just an utter joke? I'm constantly having to deal with fixing **** issues with windows 11. This product is a big joke. The "get help" app does nothing but direct me to exactly what their windows activation page is on the website.

Contacting support did nothing. They told me it's not their issue. Quality service M$

Unfortunately, no answer from GN but knowing Steve and GN it may take some time if they find any interest at all, I sent my mail to:

In the meantime, I got OEM license from a friend who don't use it and recently build DIY PC but he is linux user and guess what it was accepted without any issues.
God knows what happened to my RETAIL license now.

Understandable, probably I'll end up with the same solution, or worse

For now I keep going to open ticket until they answer or the OS lock me out, keeping screenshots of every ticket I opend and was marked as Solved (bad taste joke).

I'm a linux user too but I use windows, mainly for gaming and music stuff, and I should've learn the lesson: never trust microsoft. I should've buy a key from one of the many site who sell it very cheap, even retail keys. But Windows 10 was a good OS and wanted to support the good job. Thanks Microsoft, lesson learned

I finally was able to get in verbal communication with MS Support Team and tht was a pain . 4 times I was dropped from the line every time the operator put me on hold to "check something" or ask for advice . However the last contact was holding and a very strange discovery followed. For reasons unknown and beyond any common sense my Retail purchase over MS Store is non existent , they just dont see the transaction in their system , while I do see it in my Purchase History and have confirmation mail .I was given a link to upload all my proof of purchase mails then I have to write a short history in WORD just FYI WORD ok , then statement of the bank where the purchase is visible once I do all of this they will review it and follow up .

Crazy stuff and I never again will buy anything over MS Store or license a MS OS that way .

This is beyond crazyness, this is insane. An invoice isn't sufficient for them? The same invoice in their microsoft account? I totally agree with your conclusion, never again to spend 1 single euro on microsoft store...
