After updating the bios, im unable to activate windows 11, which was already activated. You're telling me I can't update the bios without windows freaking out. I paid for this product and now the only thing the troubleshooter is telling me to do is to just buy another product key. How the hell do I go about fixing this since windows services is just an utter joke? I'm constantly having to deal with fixing **** issues with windows 11. This product is a big joke. The "get help" app does nothing but direct me to exactly what their windows activation page is on the website.
Contacting support did nothing. They told me it's not their issue. Quality service M$

Although I feel sorry about the trouble you are facing, I'm glad I'm not alone but I hope MS is doing something about it because it is bizarre. Never before I experienced something like this with older boards AMD based msi meg X570 ACE & meg X570S ACE MAX
@Palcouk LOL, Really? Mr. Know it all huh? Please don't make comments as if you actually know what you're talking about and others don't. If you're not educated on how Microsoft does or stores its licensing/activation procedures lately then please do not make supposed professional comments. SMH
Same here, Windows 11 Pro activated, updated BIOS on Z970 Gigabyte MB, after restarting I needed a new pin and Windows is not activated :(
I've just had a call back from 3rd line support and even though I showed them this link to this thread he didn't acknowledge there was a problem. He said nothing had been reported.
Anyway he gave me an old fashioned code code and Windows activated ok so I'm sorted. He said it would work if I updated the BIOS again.
So if you want to get yours fixed just persist with the support team, waste 4-5 hours to get to level 3, then another day until they come back and give you a code. Hope that helps.
Thank you very much for the advise, however I dont feel like spanding so much money on OS and then trying to "clear" my self if I done something ilegal it supprise me that MS is so stiff and denaing . Next time if it happens I will try what you did but wont accepet anytihng other then RETAIL key that I legaly bought over MS Store .
