Windows activation after bios update

After updating the bios, im unable to activate windows 11, which was already activated. You're telling me I can't update the bios without windows freaking out. I paid for this product and now the only thing the troubleshooter is telling me to do is to just buy another product key. How the hell do I go about fixing this since windows services is just an utter joke? I'm constantly having to deal with fixing **** issues with windows 11. This product is a big joke. The "get help" app does nothing but direct me to exactly what their windows activation page is on the website.

Contacting support did nothing. They told me it's not their issue. Quality service M$

Same issue with Z90 Aorus Elite AX Bios update.

First start (BIOS not updated yet), reactivation without issue.

Bios update, WIN11 desactivated again, but cannot reactivate it.

    Tried everything :

The special command in this post.

Removing my duplicate machine linked to my MS account

    Cannot reactivate, cannot contact anybody

    Phone activation option not available

    etc ect

    It is really a shame!

Ordered a new licence and would like to know how I can send a simple request to obtain an account checking and obtain a refund.

I don't like to say that, but MS support site is useless. I m angry because it is theft.

Same happens to me with a MSI Tomahawk Z690, every time that I update the BIOS.

I can't believe we face this kind of issues when we buy a legit key for WIndows,

Hello, I’m Virginia, I have 20 years of expertise in fixing my own & friends’ PC problems.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems. Are you running Home, Home SL or Pro? Did the pc come with Windows 11 or was this an upgrade from Windows 10?

Please note we’re just fellow users like yourself & not Microsoft.

Did the pc come with Windows 10 or 11 pre-installed or did you purchase a key? Please run this to see what is currently installed & post the screenshot:

Right click on start & choose powershell with admin & enter: slmgr.vbs /dlv

This will show a popup showing whether your license is OEM, Retail, or Volume amongst other information.

Have you tried using the default key to activate? Depending on the answers to the above questions I will provide the specific key.

When you contact support you will have to go through automated support, if you type speak with an advisor you should be put through.
