Kosta, yes given the mess that's been created and that you need to reinstall to have the protections of the modern UEFI BIOS, doing a Clean Install is your best solution. This is why I suggested it as an alternative in my first post, provided you with an illustrated tutorial for a gold standard install, wrote out the basic steps including how to rescue your files if necessary using the same bootable media you create for the reinstall.

To save you from having to go back, I'll write out again the basic steps here and be standing by to help as needed. I'll be out much of the day but check in on my phone if you need me.

Do this gold standard Clean Install which compiles the best possible Install of Windows which will stay that way as long as you stick with the tools and methods given, has zero reported problems, and is better than any amount of money could buy: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki.... To create bootable Windows 10 Installation Media (on another PC if necessary) install Media Creation tool and follow the steps toward the bottom of the download page here in the section "Using the tool to create installation media:"

Insert media, boot it by powering up PC while pressing the BIOS Boot Menu Key for your PC maker given in this chart: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/hardware-tutor...

If the media won't boot you may need to enter BIOS/UEFI Setup (pressing key given in chart in link above) to turn off Fast Boot or Fast Startup first.

Choose the boot device as a UEFI device, on second screen choose Install Now, then Custom Install, then at the drive selection screen delete all partitions down to Unallocated Space to get it cleanest and clear formatting so installer formats GPT for UEFI, select the Unallocated Space, click Next to let it create and format the needed partitions and start install - this makes it foolproof.

You will get and keep the best possible install to the exact extent you stick with the steps, tools and methods in the linked tutorial. It's a great learning experience that will make you the master of your PC because you will learn everything that works best and how to apply it with your own hands.

I have USB drive that has installation media for Windows 10

I have setup my BIOS at the motherboard to UEFI USB Key

Couple questions:

I don’t want loose the production key

My most applications are in derive D:

But I believe the boot portion of each application is in C: and some stubborn applications like ACAD is on C:

So I don’t want to loose those applications and also my email outlook file.

As you know my C: Drive is ssd card.

The issue about learning I know allot in fact I have build this computer but if you do not do this type of involvement you forget how to do it.

Anyway I know you send all that reading materiel but get confusing,

So if you do not mind I will do one step at the time consulting with you each step.

And one more thing all the things I did with Pedro I believe was done to USB stick and not my computer.

Because when I try to reboot it from USB did not work so I had to redo the USB again.

So what next

Please follow the steps in the tutorial. If you run into problems then ask back. Please read through it now and let me know now if there is some reason like a language barrier that makes following this tutorial a problem:

If you cannot follow the tutorial then I suggest taking your PC to a shop. But it will not be as good of an install as if you will follow the steps in that tutorial.

It specifically says to boot the media from the BIOS Boot Menu key. Leave the Windows Boot Manager set first to boot in BIOS Setup.

If D is on a separate hard drive or SSD, see if you can unplug it during install so it doesn't interfere.

You will have to reinstall Apps after doing a Clean Install, they cannot be saved except for Steam. If you want to save game data or other AppData then research where to find it to back it up first, use the bootable media to rescue it along with any other files not backed up as shown here:

I do understand that you have little patient with people that ignore what you are sayin in the contrary I appreciated and I though I fallow exactly what you say:

Insert the usb then boot the pc hit del to go into the Bios and there where I loose you

I though I just had to make sure that the bios is set to boot from the bootable USB with UEFI option and the I key the pc boot.

What did I misunderstood?

Also you are correct that your way is better.

I have other question once we pass this.
