Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Microsoft GameInput. Product Version: 10.1.22621.1011. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation crashes PC

Any solutions known? I've looked and nothing has worked so far but they are old posts. This has been a problem for years now and the muppets at microsoft have done **** to fix it.

Been getting crashes for a few months now, with the GameInput reconfiguration message coinciding every time to the second. Glad to see Microsoft's as on-top of things as ever.

Been plaguing me since I had to do a fresh install of windows, checked all my hardware which I don't see why reinstalling windows would cause a failure there.
Feel like maybe I'm missing a driver I had on my old install but not a clue what because Motherboard manufacturers include so much garbage with their installers.

Still, my PC was running fine until I reinstalled the Xbox app and updated things in the Microsoft store, the fresh install was fine until I did that.

Had my ASUS machine at service and they replaced the RAM, as apparently it was faulty.

Did a fresh Win11 install now three times BUT the crashes continue! Is it Win11 or ASUS mainboard/firmware issues?

Guess what, I do no more care, f*** them, and go back to Mac asap, as my time is more important than solving their issues.

I feel you. My PC's brand new. All the hardware's been tested, this issue is absolutely on Microsoft's end, but good luck getting them to pay enough attention to fix it.
