Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Microsoft GameInput. Product Version: 10.1.22621.1011. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation crashes PC

Any solutions known? I've looked and nothing has worked so far but they are old posts. This has been a problem for years now and the muppets at microsoft have done **** to fix it.

No full on solution has been found yet. A few of the solutions suggested in this thread works for the rare few. I haven't had a crash in some time now but it's only because there are two things I don't do.

    1. I don't play any games while there is a video playing eg. movie on my second monitor.
    2. I don't run any video compression software like Miro.

As long as I don't do either of these I'm good. It's no legit solution but it works for me.

Uninstall Xbox app through Windows. Uninstall Gameinput through Windows. Uninstall gameservices using the powershell command listed above.

It means no gamepass, but it's the only thing which has stopped me having daily crashes. Two weeks and counting...

So a current update for me, I uninstalled GameServices which fixed the crashes for about a week, but then crashes without the GameInput pattern started cropping up. I reinstalled GameServices and have yet to see those crashes appear since.

I posted another thread and got a tip to check out my minidumps in WinDbg Preview (from microsoft store).

This gave me a new error and lead: https://www.lifewire.com/fix-the-ntkrnlmp-exe-error-4779825

After swapping power cables and outlets, as well as disabling C-States in my Bios I have yet to see a crash in 4 days.

Hopefully any of this can help.

Had same issues, BSOD, freezes with popping sound and reboots every day for the last 2 or so months. Before that nothing.
I am also on AMD Ryzen 7 5700U and suspect the issue arose when I had an ASUS mobo FW update. Not sure.

Tried the GitHub posted help, and seems I could remove all XBox cruft from my machine. Fingers crossed that it works. https://gist.github.com/joshschmelzle/04c57d957c5bb92e85ae9180021b26dc#removing-microsoftxbox-appxpackage-using-powershell-and-dism-short-version%EF%BF%BC%EF%BF%BCkeep

Edit: After doing above BSOD, freezes, restarts still happen about 1-2/day. So the cause must be something else? It is the OS Win11 update that messed with some drivers? Or how can I see what/that drivers are the cause? It's just super frustrating.
