piece of **** windows crashing Game Input reconfigure

Glad you're all keeping the thread alive...

Some news! I also uninstalled gameservices using a PowerShell command, as well as all other Xbox related packages, and so far I haven't had a crash since last Tuesday. BUT (and it is a big but) I've been off work and so have only rarely been using the computer. First full day of heavy usage today, though, and so far so good...

Confusingly, I have tried this method previously but it didn't work, so it's probably worth mentioning that this time I actually did a full fresh reinstall of all the Xbox packages (games services, game bar etc) before finally deleting them through PowerShell. Not sure if this would have made any difference, but thought I'd mention it.

I see. Did you go through all the other recommended fixes as well, sfc scannnow, dism, memtests etc

Another update: Day 3 after uninstalling game services, no crash still

"Microsoft Gameinput recofiguration was successful" or something like that and everything freezes at that time

Interesting, does your reliability monitor show the gameinput crash or is it something else?

yup, used this comand, and had crash again, but in my case, crashes only happens when i playing game.
