Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Microsoft GameInput. Product Version: 10.1.22621.1011. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation crashes PC

Any solutions known? I've looked and nothing has worked so far but they are old posts. This has been a problem for years now and the muppets at microsoft have done **** to fix it.

Stumbled upon this thread after having this issue for 1 month. This issue seems only to happen when I am on battery power (running a 2021 ROG Strix G17 with Ryzen 9-5900hx + RTX3070). When I am on AC, for some reason, I get the gameinput error in the reliability monitor but it does not freeze my laptop. However, when I am on battery power or USB-C charging, the freeze is imminent when the gameinput issue happens. I've tried everything including updating the bios, repeated updates on the windows OS, deletion of game services, xbox, etc, sfc checks, dism checks, and I even reset my secure boot keys and decrypted and re-encrypted my drives again. The only thing left that I haven't done is to clean and reinstall of Windows image, WHICH WAS WHAT CAUSED THIS TO HAPPEN TO ME IN THE FIRST PLACE. I was reformatting my laptop for the new semester and after the 22H2 update, I now face all these freezes that prevent me from getting any university work done when I am out of the house. Any fixes that anyone has found please do let me know.

Did a repair install of 22H2 with latest ISO, same Hypervisor BSOD after half an hour (up to 4 BSODs per day). So must be a driver thingy. Will need to wipe and start fresh... driving me insane.

Which part remains? Did you uninstall Gameinput?

Removing it ALL is the only thing that worked for me.

Stop just shy of going to them and sitting on top of the building with a fire hose...

So far the only solution was to buy a new system and give my old one away...I've yet to confirm this works.
