Hello
I have recently been blocked from commenting on MSN platform for all articles. This as the subject says due to my user name which is RyDa and have no idea how or why it would breach their guidelines.
I have asked for a review which has been successful and "would be back commenting soon" as they said but it has already been 2-3 days.

I'm certain one or two people found my opinion offensive and flagged it/complained to a moderator. This never happened before I was "banned". Now it seems commonplace. I find it a bit funny that if an opinion differs from the MSN groupthink mentality you will now just be removed. :-)

That really is VERY weird. What was the point in that? Maybe I'm naïve, but what is the purpose of letting a post appear, as well as responses, only to delete everything afterwards? That really does not make AN Y sense. As you say, suppression is certainly being used. I guess there is no point either in asking for an explanation. Maybe you may get to the bottom of this idiocy - do let me know!!
@ Mr Audi - that is disgraceful.
When did we as posters suddenly be allowed to do a "moderator's" job, no-one just making a post should have the right to ban another poster, despite the circumstances. I understand what you are saying - we are given the "opportunity" to post a view on something, even if some folk does not agree with your view. It's supposed to operate on democratic lines; mind you I'm beginning to think that is a concept which MSN does not actually adhere to anymore. You should be allowed to express your point of view just as much as anyone else. I fully understand the whole stupid situation has now left you disillusioned - it has me. Still, we'll see what happens next.

Like you, I was contemplating setting up a new profile, but I agree with you, it was not worth the hassle, given I have only 1 email account for starters.
I am not optimistic I will get to post again after the latest 30-day ban which has been imposed, since I've been waiting since 20th July when the initial ban was put into place. I am thinking more and more that MSN just decide to ban people on a whim. I genuinely would very much like to know how my real name does not "meet guidelines", and I think that myself, and others deserve a proper explanation.
I also notice that a reply to me was deleted...... you guessed it, " it didn't meet our guidelines" unquote. I am left wondering what horror the person said to me!!!

Well it's getting weird. Now I'm seeing that a couple of my posts were removed AFTER they were posted earlier. They also had comments/reactions on them. You are definitely correct that a person is responsible and not a bot. Suppression is alive and well!
