MSN account blocked due to user name.

Hello

I have recently been blocked from commenting on MSN platform for all articles. This as the subject says due to my user name which is RyDa and have no idea how or why it would breach their guidelines.

I have asked for a review which has been successful and "would be back commenting soon" as they said but it has already been 2-3 days.

    Somebody at Microsoft turned the woke dial to max and now everything is offensive.

    Joking aside it is infuriating when there is a problem and there is no contact Microsoft option to explain what is happening but more importantly to get an explanation of what is going on and how long a fix will be.

    Very poor company on that side.

    @ Nunya Bizness - good point. I'm blocked because my username - which happens to actually be my REAL name suddenly did not "meet guidelines" on 20th July, despite my using my real name from the start, on all on-line uses. Weird. Surely Jo Calder is not offensive!!!

    @ RyDa - join the club!! I was suddenly banned on 20th of July after being told my username - which actually happens to be my REAL name - did not "meet guidelines?? I have used it from the start, also on Facebook etc. How can anyone's own name be offensive I would love to know. On 21st July I was told that the decision was reversed in my favour - still waiting for the block to be lifted. Naturally it is impossible to actually contact MSN.

    No still not resolved and don't think it will for a very long time. Like Nunya said it should be a simple fix if someone had to ban you then it should be a simple process of unbanning. I suspect it is a bug somewhere and like I said a company the size of Microsoft with all the expertise at its disposal and they can't fix what appears to be a simple bug.

    Maybe its called Microsoft because it can't handle the micro software problems.
