Seems they are starting to use a different "response" then to both of us. On my profile it now says "Status" along with the usual "you are barred from commenting", nonsense. Naturally I still click on the request for a review every day; also had another remark telling me again that my posts do not meet community guidelines. Wish they would make their minds up, is it because my real name does not meet guidelines, or my mythical posts don't meet guidelines?! Now heading into my 4th month of being an "outcast"! I've tried again, just out of sheer bloody-mindedness to try to get a department that you can actually contact someone, but naturally it remains impossible.

Thanks also for letting me know what happens, I hope for your sake it gets solved, but I can understand your scepticism! GOOD LUCK!

Well - yesterday I got the usual reply once again that I will be able to post again shortly and today I got the new one - that my posts do not meet community guidelines!! As I've already said, I don't know what posts they are talking about, since I haven't been able to make any in 3 months!!

I totally agree with you regarding buying any Microsoft product - if they can't deal with a simple request for an explanation regarding their "guidelines", what chance is there of you or anyone else actually being dealt with in a proper way when something real or serious occurs, It would be a total nightmare.

I guess the Guessing continues! Do let me know if you actually get a sensible response!!

Just thought I'd update on what has been happening. I continue to ask for reviews every day, and of course always get the reply that the*" decision has been reversed and you should be able to post again shortly*" blah blah.

Went to put in yet another request today, but instead of the original reason for being blocked, which was my username - i.e. my real name - "did not meet community guidelines" the reason I have now been given is that "Your posts did not meet community guidelines".

I have to admit I'm totally baffled and confused now; I can't figure what these posts could be since I haven't been able to post since 20th July!!

Now, I would LOVE an explanation to this one!

Yes, I think you are right. Even if someone did not approve of your post, it is not up to them to take action. I was always of the thought that as a Moderator you are expected to remain somewhat "neutral". I fully appreciate that we will not agree with what others think or say, but I would have assumed Moderators had guidelines, taking into account people differ in their views.

The more I think through all of what has been happening, the more puzzled I become. Today I put in another review request - my 65th since July 20 when I was blocked! Naturally I do not think for a moment those "in charge" are paying any attention, but who knows, one might actually take note!!

And so, the "fight" goes on :)

That really is VERY weird. What was the point in that? Maybe I'm naïve, but what is the purpose of letting a post appear, as well as responses, only to delete everything afterwards? That really does not make AN Y sense. As you say, suppression is certainly being used. I guess there is no point either in asking for an explanation. Maybe you may get to the bottom of this idiocy - do let me know!!
