This problem started about 2 months ago. It effects both the keyboard and the mouse. I am using a wireless keyboard.
Logitech MX710 I have used this keyboard successfully for about 3 years. My previous keyboard also Logitech wireless worked for about 5 years before I replaced it. I have reached out to Logitech and they do not have any drivers to use with their unifying receiver. I have checked so many helpful hints online that I have lost track of how many times I have tried each of them again and again.
I have tried the following steps:
reloaded drivers from windows, windows update, and computer based.
Removed keyboard filters
Changed repeat rate from medium to fast
Ran Keyboard troubleshooter
ran DSIM.exe /online /cleanup-image / restorehealth
ran sfc /scannow
restarted computer
Still have a very slow - skipping - laggy keyboard.

When unplug network cable lag disappears plug it back it appears on new install. Blocked all telemetry, delete every single windows soft i dont use. Deleted task scheduler with all windows tasks. Half of windows folders Updates wont work, and if i want i cant install any windows soft in my pc because something is missing. Whola lag is gone. Windows using all recourses doing nothing related to your work. Basically manufacture uses all your pc recourses an you are left with lagging pc.
I have 2 Dell All In One Desktops, one with windows 10 and one with windows 11. The windows 11 has the keyboard lag issue. I also have 3 Dell Laptops, 2 with windows 11 and one with windows 10. Guess what, the windows 11 units have the keyboard lag issue as well. I have seen and read enough complaints regarding this issue (hundreds and hundreds) all with windows 11 platforms. Have tried all the useless tips and advice mentioned, from drivers to batteries to standing on one leg and howling at the moon, none have fixed this issues. What is frustrating is that it seems to be random. Sometime my windows 11 platforms run flawlessly regarding keyboard/mouse entry with no lag what so ever (days even weeks), then out of the blue, BAM!, the lag reappears and may last a day or weeks. This is a software issue, not a hardware issue. I am pretty much running the same applications on all my platforms from the security/protection software to MS Office 365 (downloaded). I have been running task manager on gathering data on processes running in the background to find the culprit. Stay tuned, I am going to birddog this down. Even now when I typed in my password to MS to post here, the keyboard lagged, so ofcourse I got a password error. And since the password in hidden, you have to count the number of asterisks to see if you missed a keystroke! Ugh!!! Frustrated in Florida!

This was the answer. Bluetooth peripherals sometimes encounter interference from USB 3.0 devices. This should be marked as the solution, IMO. I didn't recognize it, but my Bluetooth keyboard (Arteck, not Logitech) started lagging terribly when I purchased a new USB network card that I plugged into a USB 3.0 port a couple days ago. After reading this answer and the associated Logitech support document, I moved the USB network card to my sole USB 3.1 port, and it appears to have completely solved the problem, which I'm very happy about. I was ready to take apart my keyboard to see if something had crawled inside it! I'm a little upset, though, because I only have one USB 3.1 port, one USB-C port, and about 15 USB 3.0 ports that I'll have to be careful what I plug into them.
