Windows 11 keyboard lag. Nothing fixes it

This problem started about 2 months ago. It effects both the keyboard and the mouse. I am using a wireless keyboard.

Logitech MX710 I have used this keyboard successfully for about 3 years. My previous keyboard also Logitech wireless worked for about 5 years before I replaced it. I have reached out to Logitech and they do not have any drivers to use with their unifying receiver. I have checked so many helpful hints online that I have lost track of how many times I have tried each of them again and again.

I have tried the following steps:

reloaded drivers from windows, windows update, and computer based.

Removed keyboard filters

Changed repeat rate from medium to fast

Ran Keyboard troubleshooter

ran DSIM.exe /online /cleanup-image / restorehealth

ran sfc /scannow

restarted computer

Still have a very slow - skipping - laggy keyboard.

    Bingo!!! I had used he combo for years on my old machine located several feet away from my desk. When I put my new machine on the desk, less than two feet away, with the dongle on the back, the performance was AWFUL. Reinserted the extension and placed dongle on top of monitor - perfect! Thank you.

    I have a vey similar problem my keys will take forever to respond and half the time when they do they type that singular letter or action went it does respond. Any Ideas on how to fix this issue? I have an Asus Rog Flow with Windows 11. Thanks!

    Hello,
    I have the same issue with logitech wireless combo keyboard/mouse. I didn't notice keybord delay but mouse stops few (10-15?) seconds very often.
    I think that issue is -maybe- provoked by low priority of divice' driver...
    Anyone who has an idea ? İs-it possible to change priority to higher?
    Anyway Microsoft has to clear this issue and fix it.

    Same for me. Switched to WIn 11, problems persists. Bouth a Logi Bluetooth keyboard, and it still happens. 2 hrs trying to resolve with tech support and no fix. Pretty frustrating. I hope an old-fashioned wired keyboard of a different brand will work.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I also have 16gb RAM but unfortunately the changes made no difference for me.
