Remove Focus Sessions from Clock App

Even with all focus assist settings and automatic rules turned off, every time I pull up the clock app to set a timer it starts on the Focus Sessions tool.

Is there a way to completely turn off this feature, or do I just need to get a clock app from a 3rd party?

I strongly suggest everyone who find Focus Sessions less useful than a fancy car with 4 flat tires to submit feedback on how/why it is slowing work. Two Reasons: 1. The developers need to know. 2. They asked us for it:

What happens next with my feedback?

    1. The engineering team that owns the feature will review your feedback, and determine if they can use it to plan future work.
    2. Keep sending us feedback because we love hearing from you!
    3. Sign in and track your future feedback.

What dream world do you live in where the engineering team decides what does and does not get implemented?

Because if you'd read all the comments and researched the issue--or if you'd ever witnessed the avalanche of negative feedback that accompanies every Facebook News Feed redesign--it seems to me that you *might* come to the conclusion that "features" like this are masterminded by the sales and marketing team--and THEY will be the ones who decide whether it lives or dies.

    Hi Greg.

Does the irony of you replying that you haven't heard of anyone being bothered by it to someone clearly bothered by it escape you, are you a professional gaslighter or just some poor schmuck uncorking pre-authored responses?

Anyway, this carp bothers me and I would love the ability to at least banish Focus Sessions to the bottom of the options, so that the one thing I use the app for, which is Timers, would be there on startup. Let users arrange the UI to their needs instead of your metric-algorithmic wants.

In short, Microsoft: stop being ducking annoying. Your "news" feed that you patched in a while back and made a pain in the posterior to remove again is just another iteration of your incessant need to annoy your users and forcefeed them your newest "well, got to justify my salary" bullcarp.
