Xbox App and Microsoft Store prevents game downloands by requiring Visual C++ 2015 UWP Desktop Runtime Package to download first, but Visual C++ 2015 UWP Desktop Runtime Package will not download

Every time that I go to download a game from the xbox app or microsoft store that is over 1GB, the xbox app/microsoft store first tries to download Visual C++ 2015 UWP Desktop Runtime Package first. The issue is that the microsoft store page for Visual C++ 2015 UWP Desktop Runtime Package appears to be bugged, and I cannot download it. I have tried canceling the downloads and downloading just the package by itself and it does not work. I cannot find the page online to download it manually either. How do I download Visual C++ 2015 UWP Desktop Runtime Package manually, or how do I work around needing it to download larger games. This is a new issue, it was not a problem a month ago.

    Try this other package

    https://aka.ms/Microsoft.VCLibs.x64.14.00.Deskt...

    You need to install it on PowerShell, to do it open the folder where you downloaded the file, while holding shift, right-click the blank area in the folder and select "Open PowerShell window here", on the PowerShell window, paste the command below and press enter:

    Add-AppxPackage -Path .\Microsoft.VCLibs.x86.14.00.Desktop.appx

    Hello,

    Doing that gave me an error. I looked at it and I believed it may have been because the file name didnt match (x86 vs x64) so I tried it with x64 instead and it looked like it ran a process within powershell and then stopped. The issue is still persisting. When opening the appx file manually it seems to indicate the install did not go through.

    My bad, I overlooked this string. try restarting after installing the package via Powershell

    Not a problem at all, I really appreciate your help and patience in working through this with me.

    I tried restarting and it is still trying to download it via the Microsoft store when I try to download anything else, it looks like the edited string did not fully download it. When I try to download it via the appx it says that 'Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller_1.17.11601.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe' is running which is preventing it from downloading, which may be part of the issue?

    No, this error is not part of the issue, that is why the package need to be installed on the PowerShell,
