My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

    I can get to Energy Recommendations, but can't see the option to stop usb devices when my screen is off. Is it possible they merged this in with another feature?

    I had the same issue and it drove me nuts. I updated my motherboard BIOS etc. to no avail. As one other poster mentioned, I booted into my motherboard bios and selected turn on with keyboard which is the same as wake on my Gigabyte board. I disabled wake on LAN but that is just a personal preference. You can enable turn on/wake with mouse if you like but for a desktop system any bump or vibration would likely activate it.

    My desktop does not always wake up from WINDOWS11 sleep, but an easy way to make it wake up is to push the ESC button [on the top LHS of your keyboard and viola, the computer is awake.
