My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

Then it shuts down and restarts again, also loosing anything I'm doing. I have no other advice for you. I am not a tech. I'm a hack. Not to say "hacker", but I generally find a way to hack through a problem and fix it.

If you can't figure it out, take it back to where you purchased it and let the techs there figure it out.

Don't give up on Win11. It's a great marketing tool for Microsoft. Good luck.

I will check with Microsoft. That's where I bought it. From MS Store online. I have spent close to two hours on phone with them so far. Some more air time won't hurt.

Why not just close the entire website and send all traffic to your recommended site?

Why don't you do the detailed search and repost it here?

Why answer this post if you don't even know the answer?
