My Win 11 PC won't wake up from sleep using the keyboard or mouse.

My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

The MS tech lead me through the inputs required to sort out the problems and then through the inputs required to fix it. Almost 48 hours now without a glitch. The inputs found a failed component, but said it was repairable, and the succeeding inputs brought a message that component was fixed.

    Very disappointing!!

Each and every post on this issue [since my initial question submission] has failed to address a solution.

Here we are at Windows 11 and Microsoft cannot deliver an OS that operates without weird idiosyncrasy such as not being able to get their Windows 10 or Windows 11 system to wake from sleep. What gives?

Well, my MS tech deal fell through. Lasted 49 hours. Today left it alone for a couple of hours and came back to find it asleep and nothing would wake it except the 30 second press of the power key. Think I'll try the turn off fast startup.

I did try also turning off fast startup. That did not work either.
