My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

Believe it or not this is solely a Window's issue. I installed Fedora Linux one time to see if it would do the same and I was able to wake the device up every single time.... So it would appear that the Microsoft teams either don't use desktops or no one has ever reported this issue to them

Similar problem. I was able to fix it by going to Device Manager.

You can try and be selective and find the device(s) that are effecting you or change them all to make sure you got the one(s) that was effecting you.

Go to Device Manager (windows key =>enter Device Manager)

Click on Human Interface Devices

Right click on first entry, 

    Select Properties, 

        if it has a tab Power Management click on it

            Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

            Click OK
```
Do this for each entry in the Human Interface, most will not have Power Management tabs.

Next go to Keyboards and see if you have any Power Management tabs. Most likely not.

Lastly go to Universal Serial Bus controllers and look for Power Management tabs.

You still have the settings, I have been having this issue on my desktop, wish I had seen it before I took my computer in. You have to open advanced options to find it

I do not have this setting listed. Maybe because mine is a is desktop machine?

But I'm still having the same issue as the OP. Trying to just shut off letting the computer go to sleep at all.
