My Win 11 PC won't wake up from sleep using the keyboard or mouse.

My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

Which solution worked for you? There were many suggestions on this posting.

Mine works intermittently (wakes up sometimes). I haven't looked into the BIOS solution.

    Thanks in advance,

Never, ever have I seen an "Energy e Battery" link in my settings. Including now.

This is what makes computing so frustrating. I look up answers to problems and invariably, within the first 4 steps, I'm told to click links THAT DO NOT EXIST.

I have never seen this setting either. However, there is a 'power saving recommendations' section at the top of the power options.
