My Win 11 PC won't wake up from sleep using the keyboard or mouse.

My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

I tried a lot of solutions on this thread and nothing worked on my new Geekom Mini PC. What did finally work for me, was just pressing the power button on the PC itself. NOT Holding the power in, but just a quick touch and release. This did not boot the computer at all, it just woke it up from sleeping and all of the opened apps remained as before sleep.

I guess the Computer Manufacturer anticipated this problem and fixed it without any changes to the OS or BIOS. This was the simplest solution that I read on this thread.

try going into your bios/uefi and change power settings to be controlled by the OS to BIOS so that you get S1 S2 S3 settings for wake-up. ie, mine did not work with OS selected as the wake-up control so I switched to BIOS to control the wake-up settings.

I followed your instructions and the wake up option was checked under my mouse and keyboard.
