My Win 11 PC won't wake up from sleep using the keyboard or mouse.

My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

It worked, but this is absolutely stupid on the part of MS. this should be accessible from settings, and we shouldn't have to change stuff that doesn't solve the problem and then go hunting for a third thing to get to this. Wasting my time with no concern for its value.

    I hate software as service.

Just installed new Windows 11. There is no stop usb devices option under energy recommendations. There are options to put to sleep when lid closed but it doesn't go to sleep. Need to power off and start up everytime lid closed.

Yes there is. You just aren't seeing it. Scroll down and look carefully.
