My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

    I did check keyboard and mouse settings in DM. They are all set to wake up computer from sleep. Still not working. I will check in Bios for this issue.

    I have the same problem with a new windows 11 pc.

    I dont see this Settings option "...Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ". I guess the menu options keep changing every time there is a new update. Too many changes too often... I dont think that is good. So when you think you have figured out something you have to do it all over again.

    There were no updates available or mine. It is a MS Surface laptop. Spent an hour on phone with Microsoft service tech yesterday, and ran a diagnostic test that found a problem and then fixed it, so we'll see what happens. No problems so far.

    I had the same problem and tried all the fixes provided here but none worked. Then I used my update from Dell computer and updated 5 programs and the Bios, now everything back to normal. I haven't seen my computer lock up since so I'm guessing that is solved as well. I know that HP has updates and probably all the other brands so look at this fix as well.
