My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

    Windows 11 Pro can wake from sleep mode if the computer's motherboard supports ACPI.

    Be sure to check your BIOS. Search for USB.

    I'm guessing that you meant it will wake from 'Sleeping' rather than 'hibernation'? As far as I know the only thing that will awake the computer from hibernation is to push the power button. ---

    The solution that I came up with is to use a Keyboard with a USB Receiver plugged into a USB Port of the PC. So, this will wake up the PC merely my pressing enter. So, this is a solution, but understand that the keyboard is NOT using the PC's Bluetooth.

    I don't know if I have the same issue, but I do see the same/ comparable behaviour.

    (It's a 9th gen intel i5 with a monitor connected through a displayport.)

    For me a workaround is to turn the screen off and on en press any button. It will then awake from hibernation within seconds. I have not tested if it behaves the same with an HDMI connection.
