Windows 11 language bar "docked in the taskbar" greyed out

Hi,

There are 3 options:

Floating On Desktop

Docked in the taskbar

Hidden

However, the docked option is greyed out. How can I get it docked in taskbar?

    Solved. Just check "Let me use a different input method for each app window". Make sure you have at least 2 language options! Hope this help.

    Thanks! It worked!!!!

    I hate to be forced to use Windows at work! Every time you log in (exaggerating because I'm angry), something is changed and you need to look how you need to change it back! E.g., DNS issue in WSL, the annoying "show more options" in right-click drop down menu, all the annoying "widgets" and forced features that come up on the taskbar with any major update...

    Try removing your 2nd language, and then re-install it. Fixed it for me.
