Fact is, it is exactly defined, when this bug appear, it only appears for fresh, untouched explorer.exe tasks, so if you minimize it or do close the explorer.exe, nothing will happen. I know this is not a solution, but in my company, I have informed about 6k of Users about this and how to proceed, if they are affected, and since that, no more management power point presentation is interrupted.
So, commenting "fixed, change to W7" is the defiance solution.
If Microsoft is unable to understand the pain of their customers, your next step is a project to change.
