My HP laptop doesn’t show any wifi connections

My HP laptop won’t show any wifi connections when I click on the no wifi logo. The only two options on there are the airplane mode toggle which won’t work currently and the link to network settings. I’ve tried using the link and trouble shooting but it is yet to fix my problem. The laptop this issue is currently occurring on uses windows 10

I may be able to find a more clear guide on YouTube if that would work

No worries.

You can purchase a USB flash drive to be used on the transfer of the installer.

However, in my personal opinion, it is better if you can factory reset the laptop to fully refresh the system and avoid the issue in the future.

But it is your call. Whatever you go to, I will assist you.

I’d rather not factory reset as I have important applications needed for school that I can’t install

I understand your situation.

You may also try to contact HP support on this issue while you still don't have a USB flash drive to transfer the driver. They might have their own workaround for their product.

Thank you Nicole, after some arrangements I should have a usb pretty soon. I appreciate all your help and apologise if I’ve been a bit unclear as if you couldn’t tell I am quite young
